By creating an account or using The Dental Map, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you use The Dental Map on behalf of a school, program, or organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use The Dental Map only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to register.

If you are outside the United States, you must also meet the minimum age for consenting to online services in your country, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you live.

Keep your login details secure and provide accurate information about yourself. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile; deletion removes the information associated with your account as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, harassing, hateful, or unlawful content;
• impersonate another person, school, or organization;
• upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or probe our systems;
• scrape, resell, or redistribute the app or its content without written permission;
• use the app in a way that breaks any law that applies to you.

The Dental Map is a study and planning resource. Some content, including school prerequisites, DAT guidance, and summaries, is compiled or generated with the help of artificial intelligence. Despite our efforts, it may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Requirements and deadlines change from cycle to cycle, so always confirm critical details on the official website of the school you are applying to.

Nothing in The Dental Map is professional, academic, admissions, legal, financial, or health advice, and using the app does not create any professional relationship. Decisions you make about coursework, applications, finances, or your career are yours alone. See our Disclaimer for details.

You keep ownership of what you write, including activity journals, notes, questions, and feedback. By submitting content you give us permission to store it and, for content you choose to post publicly such as questions and answers, to display it in the app. Do not submit private information, including another person's information, that you do not want to become public.

The app's design, text, and original materials belong to The Dental Map and its licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial planning. You may not copy, resell, or publish them without written permission. School names, logos, and third-party materials remain the property of their owners.

The app links to school websites and other third-party resources and relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, and analytics. We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features at any time, and we do not guarantee that the app will always be available or error-free. We may update these terms as the app evolves; when we do, we will revise the date below, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe creates risk for other users or for the service. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the same extent, The Dental Map and its creators, contributors, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the app, including school selection, coursework, application, or career choices. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator of The Dental Map is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Nothing here limits consumer rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
